Natural, biodynamic, organic, vegan dry rose Pet Nat
Lapati Wines was founded by French immigrants Vincent Julien and Guillaume Gueroux to produce natural and Pet Nat wines in an environmentally friendly way using the traditional qvevri method.
In 2015, they finished the Marani’s construction in Sagarejo in Kakheti, Eastern Georgia, and are now producing about 5,000 bottles per year. The focus is on Pet Nat, which is probably due to their French roots.
The grapes are hand-picked and crushed with their feet. Lapati Wines is a successful experiment combining Georgian and French culture and viticulture techniques. This matches the title of their Pet Nat series, "Kidev Erti," which is Georgian for "one more" and French for "qui divertit" ("who entertains") in a mischievous way.
So take one more glass of natural wine and enjoy a sparkling life!
